Don’t Call Me Old:
Attitudes To Ageing Explored With A Cross-Cultural Lens
Most of my reports belong to the clients who commissioned them, but on this occasion, I am sharing my own research. This explored attitudes to ageing with 300 people from seven different cultural and spiritual backgrounds. The term ‘old’ was something they did not relate to, and was viewed very negatively, while their vision for their own old age was extremely positive – an interesting gap that is explored in this discussion paper.
